These are the top issues facing our district:

• Parent Rights: I will continue to fight for parent rights. The State of California is slowly chipping away parental rights, which only serves to divide the family. I will continue my fight to protect those rights for our Lakeside families.  

• Campus Safety: I would like to ensure that all campus’ are secure and support an increase in safety officer presence.

• Student Achievement: I want students unmasked and on campus. This, along with implementing the right types of interventions, can help reduce the learning losses that our students have experienced.

• Enrollment: I will help increase our district’s enrollment by bolstering our already excellent programs in science, language immersion and the creative arts.

• Career-Readiness: I will work to create a career readiness program to help ensure that students learn important skills for the real world.

• Transparent Communication: I want to strengthen open communication between the community and the school board so that parents feel heard and supported.
